Concerns have been raised by commoners on Dartmoor in response to restoration. One issue is that commoners believe their stock will avoid wetter areas and be displaced onto areas grazed by the animals of other commoners, causing difficultes between commoners, and potentially overgrazing/erosion. Does anyone have any experience of restoration undertaken under similar circumstances? and whether such a difficulty was encountered.
