I don't know my login name/password
Usernames are written in the form "firstname.lastname", using the contact name included on the original peat compendium forms. If you are not sure what your password is simply enter your email address or username on the password reminder screen and it will be emailed to you.

I don't have a username and I have a project I want to add to the site
Simply create a username and password by entering your name, email address and the name of the organisation leading the project on the create new user page. Once your login has been approved by the site moderator you will be emailed your password.

I wish to contact one of the other projects, why are email addresses not listed in the contact details?
Due to increased levels of unsolicited, commercial email that can result from the publishing of email addresses on the internet, we do not publish email addresses out of respect for our users. In order to contact users please click on their login name, which will be written "firstname.lastname" and will appear as a link at the bottom of all project pages, this will take you to our contact form (which works much the same way as email). For the reasons outlined above this option is only available to logged in users.

I do not wish to be contacted by other Peatlands projects
If you do not wish to be contacted please contact us and we will disable the ability of other Peatlands users to email you through our interface.

Some of my project details our wrong, how do I change them?
Once you have logged in to the site you should notice a difference between the projects you have entered and other people's projects, in that an edit tab should be visible just above the project name on your own project(s). Selecting this tab will reopen the entry form allowing you to change any of the information on the page.

Due to organisational changes the person responsible for my project has changed, how do I get the project transfered to a new user?
As only the projects named contact is able to change project pages, any transfer needs to be done by a peatlands site administrator. Please contact us and we can arrange this transfer for you.
