Our group at Manchester Metropolitan University have just started work on a new research project- PEATBOG: Pollution, Precipitation and Temperature Impacts on Peatland Biodiversity and Biogeochemistry, funded under the EU Biodiversa programme. The project aims to investigate the cumulative impacts of nitrogen deposition and climate change on peatland biodiversity and functioning. We are currently assembling a group of 'stakeholders'- interested scientists, conservation and policy managers who may be interested in our results.
